Development Intern

 Attend staff meetings, events, local workshops, and assist with and mentoring youths during residencies.

 Attend out of town workshops when we can arrange your transportation and your schedule allows.

 Meet with Director, President, and other future staff members on a regular basis, at least one time per week.

 Assist in setting up, organizing, researching, and maintaining emails lists:
• Donors;
• Friends and participants;
• Sponsors;
• Potential leads.

 Research grants, funding opportunities, and sponsors, organize them into spreadsheets and bring them to the attention of the Director.

 Prepare various mailings, blasts, and social media campaigns.

 Design promotional materials such as brochures, emails, flyers, etc.

 Assist with webdesign and maintenance.

 Skills required: Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Drive, Horde, WordPress, Cornerstone, Foundation Directory Online, Publisher, Constant Contact, We Transfer.

 Other administrative duties that may arise.
